After activating Ravensbourne National Park headed West along the Esk-Hampton Rd, until reaching the small village of Hampton. I had a brief look at nearby Hampton National Park, a tiny park that didn't seem to have any roads or tracks into it, John VK4TJ told me later you need to scrub bash into it if you want to activate it. Gave it a miss, headed South along the New England Hwy to nearby Geham National Park. This park was almost as bad, after driving around it found the sign for the park hidden in the scrub close to the road.
As no apparent road into it just parked and headed into a bit of a clearing in the scrub near the road and set up the shack there.
Operating spot, map from Google maps. As close to a road has a few of the locals pull up for a look and ask what I was doing.
Got on 40 m. A park to park with VK3TKK/p Peter in VKFF-2373 Lonsdale Lakes Wildlife Reserve. Weak but workable at S2.
Worked the usual hunters.

VK4TJ John was very strong, as only lives a few Km away from this park.

I tried 20 m, only 1 contact with VK6MB/8 Mike.
Packed up and continued on to nearby Toowoomba for the night.
