Last night went along to a VK1 SOTA dinner social evening at the Ainslie Football Club, organized by Andrew, VK1DA/VK2uh.
8 present. Myself, VK1NAM Andrew, VK1RX Al, VK1DA Andrew, VK1MDC Mark, VK1XP Peter, VK1DR James and VK1MBE Andrew.
Returned Andrew VK1NAM's red okky strap, he had left it on the Bullen Range summit and I found on my activation in the same spot later...
Had a good chat about recent activations and SOTA in general, batteries, antennas, tackling pileups, and experiences on the different peaks. Had the roast dinner, very nice. Stayed on to around 9:30pm.
A good evening spent chatting with fellow hams.
