See there is a new award available for users of QRZ Logbook, USA 250 Award. To commemorate the United States of America 250th anniversary of its founding in 2026.
So far only 1 USA station confirmed on 10m. This band is where I mostly contact the USA. As not many seem to use QRZ Logbook I will probably have to work a lot more than 250 stations to qualify for this award by the end of the year. For comparison last year, 2025 only worked 64 US stations that confirmed. out of 90 contacts.
Recently confirmed 100 countries worked on 20m FT8, however getting them confirmed was a bit harder. On QRZ Logbook just managed to confirm 100 countries worked on 20m, getting a "gold star".
I still need a lot of countries in Africa and some in Asia.
Noticed I've now got 100 countries confirmed in the QRZ Logbook award for 17m. Another Gold star!
I guess 20m is the next band to aim at 100. Although with only 83 it will take a while to achieve.
After working Laos on 10m I managed to make 100 countries confirmed on qrz logbook, got a gold star...
So 100 contries on 30m and 10m confirmed. Next most likely will be 17m with 98 confirmed.
On 30m this morning managed to work a new country for me on this band, United Arab Emirates.
Confirmed on QRZ logbook, giving me 100 countries on 30m. Got a gold star endorsement.
Noticed QRZ.COM had their 12 Days of QRZ for 2023 award. I got the award for 2022, a bit of fun working at least one station a day starting 1st December and getting them confirmed in the QRZ.COM logbook. Here is my logbook summary for the award.

I recently noticed QRZ.com advertising a new award, for logging QRZ Logbook confirmed contacts on 12 days from 1st December 2022 to the 28th February 2023, or the American winter. A play on the 12 days of Christmas 😀
Fairly easy to do, just make some QSOs and ensure at least one confirms in QRZ logbook. I sync my QRZ logbook with LOTW to confirm contacts. After 17 days had qualified for the award. A badge on my QRZ page
