Following a contact with VK5QS I managed to work all VK1-VK8 call areas on 17 m, and applied for the FT8DMC Worked All Australia Award. Callsigns worked

Applied for the award using Ultimata AAC software and once approved by the awards manager DM2RM Ron downloaded from the EPC member centre website.

XX9D Macao on 17 m FT-8

After trying several times on different bands, managed to work XX9D Dxpedition to Macao on FT8 mode on 17 m. Reading their reports online seems they have had high noise levels on the lower bands at the hotel, at least on 17 m was able to work them.
