Worked 500 United States Stations Award

Another award from the FT8DMC club, for 500 US stations. Have been actively looking for USA stations for chasing US Counties on 17m, 20m and 40m.

 

Worked 10 Alaskan Stations Award

Another FT8DMC award, for working 10 Alaskan Stations. Nice award. Thanks for QSOs and award manager.

Worked All States 40m

Having achieved Worked All States for mixed bands been working on qualifying on individual bands. For some time had 48 States on 40m, missing WY (Wyoming) and  NE (Nebraska). Over the last few evenings managed to work both of these states. Award from FT8DMC

Checking in my logging program, Log4OM, the next band to work on completing is 17m, needing DE (Delaware) and ND (North Dakota).

45 JA Grid Squares Award

 Picked up another award from the European Ros Club, for working 45 grid squares across Japan.

Plotted out all the Grid Squares I've worked in Log4OM and see the following coverage

Seem to have most of the popular grids. I have a couple of grids to pick up around the edges of the main islands, suspect will be hard as low populations. There are still several islands between Japan and Taiwan to look out for. 

500 EU Stations Award

 Latest award for me from the FT8 Digital Mode Club, 500 contacts with EU (European) stations.

United States County Award

 After working all US States (WAS), have decided to chase the next level, United States Counties Award.

QRZ.com logbook has an Award page for keeping track of counties, at the moment have 451 counties confirmed

Interesting to see the most common county worked is King in Washington State. This is the area around Seattle, WA. Seems to be the easiest area to work from VK.

When you work all counties in a state, it turns green. Only one state completed, Hawaii

However most States have many counties left to complete. Some of the smaller states are getting close to completion, eg CT needing 2, DE needing 1 county. Unfortunately hard to work from VK

Anyway will keep working US States, trying for the next Award level, 500 Counties.

My logging program Log4OM has a USA-CA Award for tracking Counties too. Totals show 40m as the most popular with 176, followed closely by 10 m with 174. I was quite active in the last sunspot peak on 10 m to the USA, but not now, so expect this to fall behind. Also 17 m  with 162 is proving to be a good band to make US contacts. 

Worked 200 US Grid Squares Award

 An new award for me from the FT8 Digital Mode Club, 200 US Grid squares.

25 Canadian Stations Award

 New award, from the FT8DMC club, for working 25 Canadian Stations. Nice looking award.
